Our organization is a state school (nor private) where children come from 3 to 12 years old. Approximately, we have 350 children in our school and 28 teachers. We are located in the South West of Spain, in El Rompido, a nice fisherman's village. We are 90 km from Seville and 100 km from the Algarve (Portugal). Our school is located in the south of the province, where we have magnificent beaches, but within an hour and a half we can enjoy a mountainous environment. A little further, about 3 hours away, we have the ancient city of Merida, the retreat of the commanders of the Roman Empire. Our closest environment is made up of pine forests, marshes (in which flamingos abound) and of course, the beach. Places where we usually go for activities. In addition, we have the capital city (Huelva), highly influenced by the discovery of America, since Christopher Columbus left here to discover the "new world", and the mining tradition, due to the nearby location of the "Río Tinto" town. , where, more than a century ago, British mining companies operated one of the largest opencast mines in Europe. On the other hand, our school works on several projects, such as: - Learning based on projects. - Bilingual school (Spanish and English) where we use the CLIL methodology. - Recycling project - STEAM: Robotics (Lego WeDo 2.0), Scratch, etc. - School garden organized by the parents of the students.
